Elisabeth Secker<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Elisabeth has been Managing Director of the Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) since January 2018. As part of her work, she is involved as a member of the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) board for age ratings for online games and apps. Previously, she was deputy head of youth media protection at “die medienanstalten,” the umbrella organization of Berlin’s 14 state media authorities. Elisabeth Secker is also active as a member of the advisory board of the Digital Games Culture Foundation and on the Safer Advisory Board of an international games platform. <\/div>\n

Lorenzo von Petersdorff<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Lorenzo has been Deputy Managing Director & Legal Counsel of Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle (USK) since December 2019. Since November 2018, he has been responsible for managing the USK.online division. Before joining USK in 2015, Lorenzo, who holds a law degree, gained experience at well-known companies in the media industry. Lorenzo is also active as a deputy member of the advisory board of the Digital Games Culture Foundation. <\/div>\n

Marek Brunner<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Marek graduated in media informatics and became the first game tester of the USK in 1994. In 2003, he took over the management of the entire testing department. His tasks include the coordination of the area, the technical preparation of the games, the training and selection of the reviewers, and the quality assurance of the game presentations. Since 2007, he has been responsible for the merged testing area for IARC & JuSchG procedures. <\/div>\n

Johanna Baier<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Johanna holds a Master’s in Museum Management and Communication from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. Before joining the USK, Johanna worked at the Ethnological Museum Berlin and completed further training in data management and protection. She has supported the USK team since September 2021 and is responsible for quality assurance within the IARC system. <\/div>\n

Nicolas Sznirmacher<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Nico studied music education at the Institute of Music at Osnabr\u00fcck University of Applied Sciences. After his studies, he worked as a freelance musician and music educator. His passion for video games led him to the USK as a game tester. Since May 2022, he has supported the USK team in quality assurance within the IARC system. <\/div>\n

\n Bj\u00f6rn studied Digital Media Cultures at the Babelsberg Film University and has since focused his media science work on video games. Since mid-2017, he has been working as a project manager in the USK.online department. Here he looks after the USK members, realizes implementations in technical youth protection, and works on internal projects of the USK. <\/div>\n

\n Fritz studied Digital Media Cultures at the Babelsberg Film University. Konrad Emus<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Konrad studied Slavic\/Russian Studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin and then Business Communication at the BBW University in Berlin. From 2016 to 2020, he worked as a project and event manager in the medical industry. There, he gained experience in the organisation and implementation of international conferences and the support of members and sponsors. Since March 2021, Konrad has been supporting the USK.online division as a consultant for the online protection of minors. In this role, he supports member companies on issues relating to the protection of minors. He is the contact person for complaints and questions on topics relevant to the protection of minors in the online sector. <\/div>\n

\n Melanie studied Education and Media Studies at the University of Potsdam. She gained her experience in the field of media education as a freelance parent-media consultant. She also worked as a media educator at fragFINN e.V. for a long time. Since 2020, she has also volunteered as a youth protection expert at the USK. Since September 2024, Melanie has been contributing her knowledge as a consultant for media education and cooperation at the USK. She is now also a volunteer examiner at the FSK. <\/div>\n

Simone Lieseke<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n Simone trained as a management assistant in office communication. Before joining the USK in 2003 as an assistant to the Permanent Representatives of the Supreme State Youth Authorities (OLJB), she worked in the office of the USK’s then responsible body, the “F\u00f6rderverein f\u00fcr Jugend und Sozialarbeit e. V.”. Since 2003, Simone has supported the work of the Permanent Representatives of the OLJB at the USK and, since 2021, has been the coordinator of the USK testing area, responsible for organizing the testing procedures and the committee tests. She is also the contact person for the youth protection experts. <\/div>\n
