The requirements for the protection of minors also apply to game-related events such as trade fairs or eSports events. The USK can help to include these in the planning phase and implement them on site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether a games fair, eSports tournament or launch event – anyone wishing to present games or game-related contents (such as trailers) to the public must comply with the requirements of youth protection. While the USK checks content in advance, it can also support the planning and design of an event.<\/p>\n

Here, too, are legal requirements to be met, e.g. at trade fair booths or game stations, at stage shows, live broadcasts or admission controls. The USK has been the official youth protection partner of Koelnmesse GmbH for a number of years and provides comprehensive support for all aspects of gamescom’s youth protection.<\/p>\n

If you are also planning a game-related event, we will be happy to help you design it in compliance with youth protection regulations. In addition to developing a concept for the protection of minors, we also act as an intermediary between the provider and the responsible authorities, such as youth welfare offices. In order to guarantee a smooth process it is necessary to take appropriate precautions in terms of the protection of minors and to communicate these in advance to local authorities.<\/p>\n
